Ciao a tutti and Howdy Ags!
April flowers are definitely in bloom as Spring has finally sprung in many parts of Italy! After a very wet March in many areas across the country, April has opened up to sunny skies and fair winds. We hope that sticks around for a while.
In this month’s e-newsletter, you’ll find:
Featured Articles: We take a close look at Baseball in Italy. Learn about an onion so sweet you can eat it like an apple, and a colorful look at Wildflowers in Italy.
Travel Spotlight: We explore The Charms of Umbria.
TAMU Highlights: We have a lot of good information this month. We have an Aggie Sports Update, Campus Remembered – YMCA Building, Aggie Network News, Muster History, plus an update on the 2024 Italy A&M Club Muster event. As of today we have 41 people who have RSVP to attend! We also have listed our Roll Call of the Absent (the names we will be calling off for this year’s Italy Club Muster) and we honor two Aggies who have gone before us with their Roll Call Stories. We meet and honor 1Lt. USAAF, Harry O. Schellhase, ’43 and Samuel “Sam” Jackson ’25.Recipes: We have two recipes this month. With spring finally here we have a delectable recipe for fresh strawberries with a sweet and tart Strawberry Rhubarb Pie. Plus a wonderful recipe for Zuppa Di Tortellini Cremoso (Creamy Tortellini Soup). It is so good and easy to make. We bet you will want this on a regular dinner rotation.
