Ciao a tutti and Howdy Ags!
Welcome to July and the summer heat. It’s been colder than normal at our home in Italy with more rain this time of year than we are used to, but you can see the mercury rising each week.
In this month’s e-newsletter, you’ll find:
Featured Articles: We take a closer look at the Beekeeping in Italy. Learn about the Italian name Fido. Do some island hoppingaround the peninsula. Take a look at the hidden secret found on the Pantheon columns and why it’s there.
Travel Spotlight: Take a close look at the region and hidden gem of La Marche.Recipes: We have two new recipes this month. The first is a wonderful recipe for summer which is Caramelized Peaches, Parma Ham, Pesto & Burrata with Rocket salad. Don’t knock it till you try it. The second is my favorite, Baked Goat Cheese with Blackberry Sangria Jam. Sweet, tart and creamy. Oh, I forgot to tell you it’s super good.
TAMU Highlights: Meet John Tannehil class of ’72, Gator 12 in our Ask and Italy Ag segment. In our Campus Remembered – we look at Hart Hall. Additionally, we have a Campus and Aggie Sports Update and a few other Texas Tidbits along the way.
